These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the R&R Scents website or purchase products from us.
Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
R&R Scents is a UK-based home fragrance and personalised gift business operated as a sole trader.

Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to R&R Scents, while “you” and “your” refer to the customer.
2. Our products
We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible.
Because many of our products are prepared in small batches, minor differences in appearance, colour or finish may occur between products. These variations do not affect your statutory rights.
Product photographs are intended to represent the products as accurately as reasonably possible, although colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen.
Please read all product information, safety information and usage instructions supplied with your product before use.
3. Fragrance descriptions
Fragrance descriptions and scent profiles are provided to help you understand the general character of a fragrance. Individual perception of fragrance can vary.
Where a fragrance is described as being inspired by a particular style or type of fragrance, this is intended solely as a description of the scent profile. R&R Scents is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any third-party fragrance brand unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Prices and promotions
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP).
The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charge, will be shown before you place your order.
From time to time we may offer promotions, multi-buy discounts, free gifts or other offers. Eligibility and any relevant conditions will be displayed on the website.
Where an offer is applied automatically, the qualifying amount is calculated using the basket value after applicable discounts, unless stated otherwise.
Current offers may include:
- Multi-buy discounts on selected products
- A free wax melt burner when the qualifying spend reaches £15
- Free UK delivery when the qualifying spend reaches £30
We may change or withdraw promotional offers for future orders. This will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
5. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.
You will have an opportunity to review your order and correct errors before submitting it.
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Your order is subject to our acceptance. A contract between you and R&R Scents is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted for processing.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example if:
- a product is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious pricing or description error;
- payment cannot be authorised; or
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
6. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Available payment methods will be displayed before you place your order.
Payment information is processed securely by our chosen payment provider. We do not need to receive or store your full card details ourselves where those details are processed securely by the payment provider.
7. Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom.
Our standard delivery charge is:
Standard UK Delivery — £4.00
Orders meeting the qualifying spend receive:
FREE UK Delivery on orders of £30 or more
The qualifying amount is calculated after applicable discounts.
We aim to prepare and dispatch orders within 2–3 working days.
We currently send UK orders using Evri. Delivery times after dispatch vary according to the service used and are separate from our 2–3 working day preparation time.
If there is likely to be a significant delay, we will contact you where reasonably possible.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed with you, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable UK consumer law.
8. Delivery addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.
If you notice an error after ordering, contact us at hello@rrscents.co.uk as soon as possible.
We will do our best to amend the address if your order has not yet been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible after dispatch.
9. Your right to cancel
For most products purchased online, you have the right to change your mind.
You normally have 14 days from the day after you receive your goods to tell us that you wish to cancel. Once you have notified us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
You do not need to give us a reason for cancelling.
To cancel, contact hello@rrscents.co.uk and provide enough information for us to identify your order.

10. Returning unwanted products
Unless a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods following a change of mind.
You should take reasonable care of products while they are in your possession and package returned items appropriately.
You may inspect products as you reasonably would in a shop. If a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may be entitled to reduce the refund to reflect any reduction in value.
Where required, we will also refund the standard outbound delivery charge paid with an eligible cancelled order. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, we are only required to refund an amount equivalent to our standard delivery charge.
11. Personalised and custom-made products
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not normally apply to products that are made to your specification or clearly personalised for you.
This includes applicable products from our personalised or customised ranges.
Please therefore check names, wording, dates, spellings and other personalisation carefully before submitting your order.
This exception only applies to change-of-mind cancellations. It does not affect your rights where a personalised product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
12. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Products supplied by us must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose as required by UK consumer law.
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us at hello@rrscents.co.uk.
Include your order number and details of the problem. We may ask for photographs where appropriate to help us understand what has happened.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may include a replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
13. Refunds
Where a refund is due following an eligible cancellation, we will process it in accordance with applicable consumer law.
For change-of-mind returns, refunds will normally be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or receiving appropriate evidence that they have been sent back where applicable.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
14. Product safety and responsible use
Our home-fragrance products should only be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions and safety information supplied with them.
Please keep fragrance products, wax melts and associated products away from children and pets where instructed.
Never leave a lit wax melt burner unattended and always follow the safety instructions supplied with the product and burner.
Where required, products are supplied with relevant safety and hazard information. Always read the product label before use.
15. Free gifts
From time to time, qualifying orders may receive a free promotional gift.
Our current free-gift promotion provides a free wax melt burner when the qualifying basket value reaches £15 after applicable discounts.
Free gifts have no cash alternative.
If products are subsequently returned and the remaining order would no longer have qualified for the promotional gift, we may ask for the unused free gift to be returned as part of the cancellation or take its stated value into account where legally permitted.
This does not affect your statutory rights where either the purchased goods or free gift are faulty.
16. Website availability
We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
We may occasionally need to update or temporarily suspend parts of the website for maintenance, security or other operational reasons.
17. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the R&R Scents name, branding, website content, original product photography, graphics and other original material on this website belong to us or are used with permission.
You may not reproduce or commercially use our original website content without permission except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
18. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, these terms do not affect the legal protections available to you.
UK consumer terms cannot lawfully exclude responsibility for matters such as faulty goods or goods that are not as described.
19. Personal information
We use personal information in connection with orders and the operation of our website.
Information about how we collect, use and protect personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our products, services or applicable law.
The terms that apply to your purchase will be those in effect when your order is placed.
21. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions and purchases made through our website are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory legal protections that apply to you based on where you live within the UK.
